Colour outside the lines. We crave craft. And we know admitting you have an addiction is the first step to recovery. And that's what Craft Rehab is about - recovering your creative potential, one step at a time with our 12 step art therapy programme.
This collaborative exhibition presents the art work of art psychotherapists and reveals some of the hidden and intimate processes of art psychotherapy.
Each year students of the MA Art Psychotherapy programme collaborate on an exhibition to present their art practice and open up awareness of the work of art psychotherapy and the MA programme at Goldsmiths to a public audience.
Accompanying the exhibition; public seminars and workshops are held to stimulate debate and exchange with the aim to open up new conversations and forge critical thinking about the work of art psychotherapists, their art making and its cultural value and contribution in society.
There are a variety of different art therapy services to suit your needs
Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses a combination of images and words. Its primary aim is to accomplish change, transformation and healing.
Whether the need for support is due to depression, anxiety, stress, disordered eating, bereavement, relationship difficulties, or something else talking therapy is available.
